Help with configuration of new post

I am trying to publish a new post and when I previewed it there is a link in between the title and the post is a link to my previous post I published on a totally different subject. Is this link supposed to be there and if not how do I remove it? I tried everything I can think of

The link you are talking about is meant to help your readers navigate to the previous post (or next post). It is built into your theme. Some themes have no such helpful links (mine does not and I guess you can tell I wish it did), and some themes put the links at the end of each post.
