Help with CSS

    Hi there! I am just beginning to learn CSS and was hoping to get some help with a couple of questions. To begin with, I am using the Twenty Thirteen theme.

    1) On the secondary widget area of my blog (at the bottom of the page) I included a follow my blog widget. I am trying to figure out how to change the color of the orange button, but am not having any luck. I understand where to put the CSS changes, I just can’t figure out the piece of CSS to edit. I have gone through the Chrome developer tool but can’t seem to find the right piece of CSS to edit.

    2) On http://reasonstobejoyful.com/contact/, I have social media buttons via the text widget on the right side. However, I again can’t figure out the right piece of CSS to change in order to get ride of the cream box behind it. It also doesn’t seem like that box is connected to my theme’s color options.

    If anyone has any thoughts to assist, I would greatly appreciate it!

    Here’s how to change the color of the button:

    #subscribe-blog input{
        background: green;
        border-bottom: 3px solid darkgreen;
    }

    The old button had a color gradient–do you want that back? If so, let me know what color stops you want and we can add that back in.

    I don’t see the cream box behind your social media widgets–did you figure that one out?

    Thanks Liz, I will give that a try! Yes I actually just figured out the cream box issue.
