Help with Dara theme
-
Hello,
I accidently deleted the photo section beneath the ‘home, templates, contact, blog, testimonials’ row and can not figure out how to retrieve it.
Any help?

Hey majocalvoestetica,
Your website seems to be private so I have added the “modlook” tag for staff’s assistance. Please wait for a staff member to reply.

Hi there,
I’m not sure what you mean by “Photos section”
You have a static home page set. Your theme can either show a featured image at the top of the page – for that you’ll need to edit the page and add a featured image in the page editor.
Or your theme can show a slider of posts you have featured. For that your posts need to have featured images and a special tag to mark them as featured. But it doesn’t look like you’ve ever had that set up.
Please take a look at your theme’s instructions in https://wordpress.com/theme/dara, and let me know if you still need help with anything after that.

Thank you for your reply!
I´ll try and explain better..
When I selected the Dara theme, in it’s default versión there was the ‘about, home, contact, blog’ row in turquoise with a photo of buildings (I believe it was) right beneath. It was above ‘Home’ on the home page and I was able to change that photo. When I tried editing again, I accidently deleted the photo altogether. I’m not sure what feature it is, since I’ve gone through all the editing tools and nothing matches.

Hi there,
I think you’re referring to the “Front-page featured pages”. To make them show up again go to the Customizer > Theme Options and from the drop-down menus select the pages you’d like to feature.
Here’s a screenshot of what section I’m referring to:

Hi,
I was actually referring to the photo of the table with both a laptop and books on top..

Would it help if we compared to the demo perhaps? Here’s our demo site:
https://darademo.wordpress.com/There’s a section with big images in a slide show. Is that the part you’re having trouble with?
