I have a domain purchased through my web hoster, who had a word press account and I am transferring to my own webpress account and want to know if hosting will be provided through you all and does that cover backups and how could I bring my domain?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
Hosting is provided here at WordPress.com, and you can have your domain point to your new WordPress.com site. It does require purchasing one of the paid plans, starting at $2.99/mth paid annually. There’s more information about plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Regarding backups, according to @supernovia
We keep revisions of your posts and pages for you. Basically, the only way you can lose them is if you intentionally delete them or delete your site, or give someone else access to delete things (so keep your password safe, don’t stay logged in on public computers, etc.)

The first step would be to create your new site here. Once your site is ready to go, someone here will be able to help you point your domain to it.
This guide will help you get started: https://learn.wordpress.com/get-started/
I hope that helps, and let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks & I just upgraded to the Premium & I’m waiting on my old host to provide whatever is needed for my paid domain I want here. So to understand, I just create my site & after I that I can get the domain here? I want to be sure I have my original domain. Thanks again…

Yes, that’s correct. The best approach is to create your new site here, and get it just the way you like, then change your domain provider’s domain name servers to point (‘mapping’) the domain. There’s a guide about this process here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

Thanks for your help. Another question, I didn’t upgrade to business but premium and discovered I can’t get a store/shopping cart. I tried adding a PayPal button to a particular page instead and no matter how I view it (HTML view) or paste it, it doesn’t show as a PayPal button but only the text written out. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I’ve used PayPal buttons on my old website, the one which domain (simplyhaircollection.com) I’m waiting to have added or mapped here, but I can’t now. I know my old host had me set on a higher plan bc I had a shopping cart, & would use the PayPal buttons still with no problems.
Please help again. Thanks…

Hi,
There’s a step-by-step guide on adding PayPal here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
Have a look at that, and let me know how you go.

Thanks again. I’m sorry, I have another question. I just upgraded to business to avoid the PayPal button adding, but I can’t add the woo commerce plug in now. It says I need a domain or something, but I’m still waiting on my old host to give me something for my old domain. Do you know what I need from him & how could I add the woo commerce plug in?
Thanks so much. I have many questions & I appreciate the responses helping me…
