Help With Domain Mapping! Do Not Want Full $35.88 Package for Personal Plan – only to map .co.za dom

  I need to have my domain (which I have already purchased) mapped to WordPress (which costs $13). How do I do this? If I try to have it mapped, it takes me to select a Plan. I want to select the Personal Plan but then that amount adds to $35.88. I do NOT WANT another domain added to my plan! PLEASE HELP ME.

  I have had this done. But the following happened. SCENARIO #1
  1) I paid the full $35.88. So then I wanted it removed because it was so much money and I actually just wanted to have my domain mapped for $13
  2) I sent a request to have this removed via THIS FORUM.
  3) Then I opened a live chat to have personal plan removed as it was too much money only to have a domain mapped (after I had bought the personal plan). This support consultant (Chaitanya) gave me the full refund of $35.88.
  4) Then with the live support chat I repurchased a Personal Plan (AGAIN 2nd time) after support consultant (Chaitanya) advised that he would refund me $22.88 (because I did not want to buy a domain) and only charged me $13 for domain mapping. This had been done.
  5) My domain was successfully mapped! Live support chat ended.

  But then SCENARIO #2
  6) My initial help question through this forum (as described in point 2) above), went through a couple of hours after I had already been assisted by Chaitanya. And the support consultant (Amy) had cancelled my successful domain mapping, removed my personal plan and refunded the remaining $13. Now I am stuck without a mapped domain. Again.

  If I select ‘redirect’ to domain. And enter my owned domain (thisafrikaansgirl.co.za) will this automatically map my domain?

  Hi there,

  A Site redirect does the exact opposite of domain mapping – it takes people away from your site instead of showing your site at your domain. I have switched your site redirect with a domain mapping, so you should be good now.

  This situation happened because you made multiple support requests on one issue. In future, please don’t do that.
