Help with domain please

  It seems my ideal custom domain, blog.treesforachange.com, is already registered. This is very confusing, since I own and have run the website and domain at http://www.treesforachange.com for 6 years now. The only thing I can think is that I registered it myself and then forgot, but I can’t find any record of that. Am I smoking crack? Or did some freak go and register under the name of my website already? How I can figure out who registered blog.treesforachange.com ?

  blog.tressforachange.com is a subdomain, so are you following the steps here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/ ?

  Since it is a sub-domain a person needs access to both your blog here and your domain registration account to make a sub-domain work –

  A sub-domain attaches to your regular domain name – so you don’t register a new name – just map the sub-domain to the main name – sort of like when you do an outline and there is a sub-heading under the main heading
