Help with domain pointing

  Hi There,

  I’m completely new to wordpress.com and have started a new blog.

  I have purchased the domain name via wordpress so that it points to my blog but for some reason it’s still showing http://www.littlemissfoodie.wordpress.com

  I though that by purchasing the domain via wordpress, if anyone typed in http://www.littlemissfoodie.com that’s what would show in the address line. I just think it would look more professional without the .wordpress.com in there.

  Is there something else I need to do? I want people to be able to type in http://www.littlemissfoodie.com without it diverting to http://www.littlemissfoodie.wordpress.com in the address bar.

  Sorry if I have repeated myself here – I just want to be as clear as possible.

  If you bought littlemissfoodie from WP it should do it automatically once you have added it to the domain list they provide and CHOSEN IT AS YOUR PRIMARY DOMAIN.

  If you bought it from/registered the name somewhere else you need to point to WP.
