Help with Domain Transfer

    Hello,

    I would like to transfer my old domain name, through Go Daddy, to WordPress. I want to completely delete my old website and create my new website on WordPress with my same domain name. I would like to purchase the Personal Plan. Is it possible for me to transfer my old domain name into WordPress using the personal plan? The premium plan is above my budget.

    Also, can I pay for the personal plan for more than 1 year? Do you offer more bulk packages that lower the monthly cost?

    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to transfer a domain registration to us, so you will need to leave it registered with GoDaddy and connect it here using domain mapping, as explained in the link provided by @thebud15

    You will need to purchase a plan to add domain mapping, but all our plans include one free domain so you can use the personal plan for this. All plans are purchased for a year in advance, so you are charged annually, not monthly. It is not currently possible to purchase any upgrade for longer than a year in advance.
