Help with Domains and Theme Layout
-
Hello,
I have two issues with my site that I’m trying to resolve. I cannot figure out where to edit the content of the home page on my site Canada Makes. Currently, there are three columns that appear when i click ‘customize’ – start here (located on the left side of the page), Latest posts (located on the right side of the page), and a welcome to word press that appears in the middle of the page. the problem is with the middle content. I cannot edit it, and it doesn’t seem to appear on my dashboard. when i try to view my site outside of the customize window, the middle content is gone and the right column is pushed against the far left column. I don’t understand what is going on.
also, I’m having a problem linking my site to a URL I purchased outside of WordPress. I linked the three servers to my purchased URL (www.canadamakes.ca) and then pointed my wordpress site at the hosting service. I left it for a number of hours and early this morning it appeared to have worked and was running fine. At noon today the site went offline and http://www.canadamakes.ca displays a ‘this page is not available’ when i enter it in my browser.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated as i’m trying to get this site up and running before the start of next week.
Best,
