Help with Dyad theme
-
Hi,
I need some help with the Dyad theme please.
I want to see if there is a way to modify two parts of the theme.
On the main page, where a slider is shown and it scrolls between my featured posts, it says in purple, as an image ‘featured’ is there a way to change the text ‘featured’ to another word?
Secondly, when scrolling down the page, all my blog posts appear and they all got a button to click which says ‘read more’ in a yellow box. I would like to know if this can be changed to another word or if I can choose a different image.
My issue is that Im making a blog in a different language and I need all the info not to be in English.
Many thanks for your support.
Monika

Hi Monika,
It’s possible to contribute and use translations for different themes here at WordPress.com. To get started, change your site’s language via its General Settings:
https://wordpress.com/settings/general/basakojablog.wordpress.com
GlotPress is the tool we use to enable anyone to contribute translations. You can read more about it here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/glotpress
Translations for themes on WordPress.com don’t get deployed until at least 85% of their text/strings have been translated. The percentage of translated Lithuanian strings is currently at 80% for Dyad.
If you’d like, you can help translate Dyad by contributing to the theme’s GlotPress project page here:
https://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/themes/dyad/lt/default/
We also have an in-page translation tool that may be more convenient for you:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/inpage-translation/
Once the percentage of translated strings for the theme is at 85%, our team will be able to validate and deploy them.
Let me know if you have any questions around that! :)
