help with email custom dns

    can you please tell me the exact code and info i need to put into the Custom DNS Records box so i can use my currently dysfunctional email ((email visible only to moderators and staff), hosted by ipage.com) based on the info below that i got from ipage? thanks!

    To configure an MX record:

    1. Choose two (more, if you would like more redundancy) of the following IP Addresses:
    66.96.142.50
    66.96.142.51
    66.96.142.52
    2. Create two custom DNS records as follows:
    mx.yourdomain.com points to 66.96.142.50 (or any other of the IPs available above)
    mx.yourdomain.com points to 66.96.142.51 (or any other of the IPs available above)
    3. Then, set the MX priorities as follows:
    MX1 priority 10 points to mx.yourdomain.com
    MX2 priority 20 points to mx.yourdomain.com

    The MX records are what you need.

    What you were provided with doesn’t sound quite right. I recommend asking your email provider for specific MX records.
