Help with embedding google calendar and events widget

  1) set the calendar to public and used the iframe link in calendar settings to copy to a new page in text mode
  2) iframe link did not convert to short code when saved on this page (using theme Cerauno)
  3) tried to type in code example you show in your help pages using the email name for the calendar and saw a calendar briefly embedded
  4) however neither it nor the events widget showed the correct calendar entries
  5) now the calendar is gone again -expect my coding was wrong but suggestions much appreciated
