help with excerpts?

  My ‘add a new post’ page is suddenly not offering the option to create excerpts?

  The theme ‘bueno’ allowed it before, but now the option is gone.

  Any way to repair this problem? I tried out a few themes to look, and it seems WordPress.com isn’t allowing me to create excerpts for any theme now??

  Is this just me, or is it a site-wide problem?
