Help with facebook thumbnail please!

I am having problems trying to share my website on Facebook. The thumbnail stays blank which looks a bit odd. I have uploaded a blog picture/icon/blavatar but nothing appears in the thumbnail, no random picture, nothing. Reading about problems other users have I wouldn’t have been surprised to have seen a random image from my image gallery – but there is just a blank space.
Im using the ‘stay’ theme.
Does anyone have any suggestions to what I am doing wrong?
Is this a problem on the wordpress side or the facebook side?Many thanks its driving me crazy!

We have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

Thank you Timethief – I have seen your posts and read these links before, seeing you have advise people with similar problems – but usually people have some kind of image displayed? I was wondering if it was something I was doing as I never have any image displayed?
