Help with Hiding or Displaying Various Profile Sections

    Hi,

    I signed up for my WordPress and first blog in October, but am only now preparing to begin using it.

    Today, I edited my profile section, but wasn’t sure how people were able to view that information. I did a little reading and discovered that people could read your profile by going to wordpress.com/profile/username. I thought I might put a link to my profile page from my blog. (I don’t know for sure I’ll do that, but it’s a thought).

    Sorry, all that to preface my question. Somehow I accessed a section that allowed me to hide or make visible various sections of my profile such as my bio, my email address, instant messenger screen names, etc. I was playing around with that, and now if you go to wordpress.com/profile/inspirationfromtheheart, my email address and AOL screen name are visible. I want them to be hidden instead, but can’t locate the options now to hide them. Plus, I’ve since edited my profile and deleted my screen name, and yet it’s still showing up on that page.

    Could someone please help me out? I’m really confused now, and will probably just hide the entire profile and just utilize the “about” page on my blog, if I can get this fixed!
