Help with home page and blog page

    Having issues figuring out how to have my home page link take me to the page that appears when you first enter the site. I also have an issue getting my blog to post under my blog link. Please help me.

    Hi,

    The menu item “Home” in your header navigation menu links to the page https://cleantosave.wordpress.com/, which is your homepage, so I’m not finding the first issue that you describe. Have you resolved it?

    Your homepage is the presently set to display the blog page. On a WordPress.com site, the blog page can only be displayed on one page. In a custom menu, you may have two menu items link to the same URL, but I’m not sure that’s what you want to do.

    If you want the “Blog” menu item to link to the blog page, and a different page set as the front page (homepage), with a link to that page in the menu, then take the following steps at Customize > Static Front Page:

    • 1. At “Front page displays” choose “A static page.”
    • 2. From the drop-down menu labeled “Front page,” choose the page that you want displayed on the front page, as the home page. You may want to create a new page to serve as the home page. I don’t presently find an existent page with the URL https://cleantosave.wordpress.com/home.
    • 3. From the drop-down menu labeled “Posts page,” select the page titled “Blog.”
