Help with Independent Publisher Theme

    Hello,
    I am trying to build a basic, but good looking website and I’m having a few issues, but the one I am facing right now is the gap where a side bar widget is supposed to be. First off, the theme I am using is INDEPENDENT PUBLISHER. I have a few pages created for my site, but I do not need a side bar widget for some of those pages. The problem is, there is a sizable gap on the left side that makes the page look unprofessional and not well formatted. Is there a way to fix this and make it look better without changing themes?
