Help with invisible text temp fix

  Hello there,
  Like many other users, my text has turned practically invisible.

  I have tried the CSS temporary fix (suggested in the sticky post https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blog-design-issues?replies=4#post-1435714) without success.

  My code looks like this (including three lines of an existing edit)

  .byuser article {
  background: #FFFFFF;
  border: none;}
  body{ color: inherit; }

  No doubt I’ve made some cardinal error. Many thanks if you’d be able to pinpoint this, otherwise I’ll wait patiently for a lasting fix.

  It was billed as a temporary solution, but I’m inclined to agree.

  Not temporary, that issue should be fixed!

  If you run into any further troubles after refreshing browser cache though, let us know in a new help requests in the forums and we’ll check it out.
