Help with linking name to new blog.

  Hello! I have just made a new blog (bonvoyageblake.wordpress.com) and deleted my old blog (purpleskivvy.wordpress.com). The problem is I can’t seem to link my name that appears when I comment, to my new blog. It just shows a message thats says “the authors of purpleskivvy has deleted this site.” Is there any way to link my new blog to my name without purchasing the Site Redirect Upgrade?

  Hi. Your username already links to your new blog, but that change does not apply to your previous comments. This is normal:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/personal-settings/#account-details

  If you already deleted your old blog, I don’t think there is a way to direct your visitors to the new blog, not even with the site redirect upgrade.
