Help With Menu Tabs

Hello! I recently started helping update earlyconnectionserie.org, and they would like to remove one of the tabs on their menus completely, the “Success By 6” tab specifically, but I cannot figure out how to accomplish this. We have a “Main Menu” with nothing in it, a “primary” menu with About Us, Locations, Giving/Get Involved, and Erie’s Future Fund, and then “SB6” menu with Home, About Us, Committes, Community Partners, Help Your Child Grow, and Tips and Tools for Early Learning. They would like to complete remove the Success By 6 Menu and Tab, but when I go to delete the “SB6” menu when I go to customize menus, for some reason a bunch of extra menu options appear that weren’t there before, and the tab does not disappear. Does anyone have any ideas? I’m sorry if I’m not providing enough information, let me know. Thank you!

    Hi there,

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted elsewhere. Based on the domain earlyconnectionserie.org, it appears to be hosted by GoDaddy.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.

You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

You can reach out to your host for help with your site. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could also be able to help you here.

The WordPress.org forums are also a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
