Help with Meta-animations website membership site
-
Hi,
I’m having trouble creating a membership website that basically can:
- Upload and sell individual videos
- Upload and sell packages of videos.
I’ve worked with HappyPlugins and they are an absolute nightmare, and now I tried Paid Memberships but they’re not doing what I want to do.
Anyone who can help, please reach out – and if you have examples of websites that do a similar thing, that’d be very helpful.
Thank you,
lou

Hi @annelouauks,
Upon checking, I discovered your website is a self-hosted site using the open-source WordPress software (https://wordpress.org). We wouldn’t have access to it here at WordPress.com as we are a managed hosting service, not linked with your hosting provider Google. We explain the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org in the link below.

I recommend reaching out to Google for tailored assistance. You can refer to this link for information on where your website is hosted.

Additionally, if you’re looking for a hosting service that includes robust support, consider our offerings at WordPress.com. We provide a seamless migration process at no additional cost, which could help simplify your setup and ongoing management.
Here is a support document that explains how you can migrate your site to WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-an-entire-wordpress-site/

I’ve faced similar issues and found that using WooCommerce with WooCommerce Memberships and Subscriptions offered more flexibility for selling individual videos and bundles. It takes some setup but works well for managing access levels. You could also look into Restrict Content Pro or MemberPress as alternatives. For video hosting, platforms like Vimeo Pro or Bunny.net can help with performance.
