Help with Morning After Theme

I need help.
1. Is it possible to have the posts on my homepage shortened? Right now my page is way too long, and I’d like to have it show about half the article and then say “click to continue reading” or something like that.
2. Is it possible to make an “Archives” page where all my posts are automatically stored with thumbnail images and a brief snippet from the text (similar to the page that opens when you click on an author’s name)?
3. Is it possible to turn my Homepage Feature Widget Area (which is currently ‘Text’ where I have embedded a video) into a ‘Recent Posts’ widget where it shows my 2 most recent posts (but not the one currently published on the homepage) and their image plus one or two sentences from the article itself?
If any of that does not make any sense, please let me know.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. Go to appearance > theme options > general tab and set it to not show full posts (last two options) and then save.
2. You already have archive pages automatically by month/year. Click on a month/year link in the “Archives” widget.
You can also create a page and use the archives shortcode that will produce a list of all posts from newest to oldest, but it will just show the titles.
3. Take a look at this detailed review of The Morning After by Panos.

Thanks for that, but it’s not quite what I’m looking for (and it’s my fault for not being more clear).
1. I can make the homepage posts not full-length, but is there a way to customize just how long I want it to be? Setting it to not show full posts makes them very short…I’d like the homepage posts to look a bit longer than that.
2. I meant making an Archives *page* that looks like the page that appears when I click on an author to see his/her archives.
3. That review is very helpful.

1. After you have selected that option, you can make the excerpts any length you like by adding content in the Excerpt module of the post editor. Content can include the HTML for an image.
If you’re not seeing the Excerpt module while on the post editor screen, click Screen Options (top right) to enable it.2. What’s the difference between “the page that appears when I click on an author to see his/her archives” and “an Archives *page* that looks like” it? If you mean you want tabs for those pages in the top nav menu (next to about etc), you’ll copy the URLs of the author pages and create custom links in a custom menu. Instructions here:
