Help with Motif

    Hello, three questions:

    1. I have upgraded to CSS. How can I change the colour of the menu and footer bars from black to grey?

    2. How do I make child pages appear under parent pages? I can create the pages but when I click on a parent page nothing happens. Wondering what I’m missing/doing wrong?

    3. If I don’t want a title/header on the home page, only a logo, is there a way to reduce the white space between the logo and menu bar?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

    1. If you replace the #e4e4e4 in the following code with a hex for the grey of your choice, you should be able to change the colour of the menu & footer (it is the footer widget area which is in black, so assuming you want the black to be grey) from black to grey.

    .main-navigation {
        background-color: #e4e4e4;
    }

    .footer-widget-area {
        background-color: #e4e4e4;
      }

    2. Here are some handy documents that can help you with creating and arranging pages.

    3. I think it should be possible, but I am not really sure about this. I will leave that for one of the theme experts to answer.

    Thanks loads for your help. I’ve tried the code for answer 1 and it works a treat! I’ll now look into the links for answer 2. Will it and see if anyone can answer no. 3. Thanks again.
