Help with Motif theme customization

  Hi there I have a few questions about customizing my website: http://jymobi.ca/

  1. How do I center align the content for the grid pages? [http://jymobi.ca/services/]

  2. How do I hide the featured image from showing up above my posts/pages? I’m particularly concerned about this page [http://jymobi.ca/services/one-on-one/] since it looks kind of odd having the featured image show up twice

  3. Can you suggest any ways I can make my media images larger? Possibly to take up majority of the page? For example on [http://jymobi.ca/services/one-on-one/]

  Hi there!

  1. How do I center align the content for the grid pages?

  You can make this change with this custom code:

  .entry-summary {
  	text-align: center;
  }

  2. How do I hide the featured image from showing up above my posts/pages? I’m particularly concerned about this page since it looks kind of odd having the featured image show up twice

  Hello. Thank you for the help! The code really helped. I’m still wondering if you could please help me with the second question. I’ve been trying to look for CSS codes on how to hide the featured image from showing up on my blog post but I can’t seem to find anything that works. Do you have any suggestions?

  Okay! Here’s some code to remove the Featured Image:

  .entry-thumbnail {
  	display: none;
  }

  Hi there. Thanks for the suggestion – it’s not quite what I was looking for however. Is there a css code where the featured image shows up on the posts page and then is hidden when viewers click on the post? I just don’t like how the featured image shows up twice. For example, on my services page I would like the image to show up on the grid but then disappear when the viewers click on the image for more info.

  Also a few more questions:
  1. Do you know how to center the footer menu?
  2. Do you know how to center the copyright text and blog at wordpress text at the bottom?

  You can center the ‘Blog at WordPress.com |Customized Motif Theme’ using this code:

  .site-info {
  	text-align: center;
  }

  Other than that, these customizations are a bit more complicated than I can help you with. You should check out the CSS forums! They’ll be able to give you some help with the more complex changes to your site.
