help with moving rankings and followers from blogger
-
Hi,
I have recently imported two blogs from my blogger account to my WordPress account (paulgotthardt.com), using the import tool provided me. Now that the blogs have been moved, I am concerned with the rankings, permalinks, and followers I had at blogger. With all the research I have done, I have come across solutions to this problem, but have no access on my WordPress site to implement them. Is there either a way for you to show me how I can access the themes directory and copy a file into it? Or is there a way for WordPress to automatically migrate rankings, permalinks, and followers? The best article I have found that would fix my problem is this: http://www.labnol.org/internet/switch-from-blogger-to-wordpress/9707/
But it would mean that I need to get to the Oxygen theme directory, which I have no idea how to get to.

Hi,
I’m afraid there isn’t a way to import your rankings, permalinks, and followers from Blogger to your WordPress.com blog.
Is there either a way for you to show me how I can access the themes directory and copy a file into it?
We don’t allow editing template files with the blogs hosted at WordPress.com.
To clarify, the article you linked to is meant for self–hosted (WordPress.org) blogs, and you can see the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
Let me know if you have any other questions.
