Help With My Customization?

  Hello,
  I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me with making my blog come together and get ready for actually blogging? I am terrible at CSS and HTML and such, and could really use somebody. I have no way of paying, which is why I am coming here on my hands and knees hoping someone can help me.

  For starters you need to describe what you want to do – keep in mind that CSS is a do it yourself with no official support here, there are only a couple of unpaid volunteers that help with CSS so you will need to be patient and do bite sized pieces. Also make sure you have a link to the site you are asking about, is it the one that is linked to your name?

  It is in fact the blog linked to my name.
  I have the layout that I kinda like now, but I still need it to be more personalized. I need to have an icon, I need to add banners on the side that go with the layout now that make it more personal.
  Things like that, I want it to look professional, but personal at the same time.

  As auxclass has stated CSS editing is a paid upgrade. there is no free means of editing CSS without the upgrade and CSS editing experience. You are expected to have a moderate understanding of CSS editing experience and to be able to work on your own

If you mean an affiliate banner or advertising banner for a third party of any kind then that’s not allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. If you do not mean advertising for a third party site then you can use an image widget or a text widget.
