Help with my header colour

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi there.

    Recently purchased the CSS upgrade for my blog. I know a bit of CSS, but wanted to buy it to learn more and have a play around.

    I’ve been in the process of customizing my blog, and its fine so far but now I can’t seem change to colour of my post title/header.

    The blog is – http://earlyrock.wordpress.com – The text where it say’s ‘This is a Test’ and ‘Hello World’ are the bits I want to change, but everytime I change the colour, it stays the same no matter what colour number I enter.

    This is the section of CSS I assume it is:

    #header h1,#header h1 a,#header h1 a:visited,#header h4,#header h4 a,#header h4 a:visited {
    color:#FFFFFF;
    font-size:24px;
    font-family:Tahoma, Arial, Verdana;
    font-weight:normal;
    text-decoration:none;
    margin:0 0 7px;
    padding:0;
    }

    Everytime I enter #FFFFFF, it still won’t change to white even when I preview it and save it.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers.

    That’s for the blog title. For post titles you need to add this:

    #content h2 a, #content h2 a:visited { color: #fff; }

    If you’re using Firefox, add the Aardvark and Firebug add-ons: help you identify selectors.
