Help with Navigation Menu Page on mobile view
-
I am using the block-editor and the Greenstead theme.
How can I customise what the navigation menu page? (the page that appears when opening the hamburger menu on mobile devices)
It currently opens up to a full-page menu and for some reason the drop-down arrows for sublists disappear. They are visible on desktop view but not mobile. Would also be good to customise how spread out the menu items are, but there are no mobile-view editing options available to the navigation block. As far as I can tell any changes made in the mobile-view also affect the desktop.
Please help, thank you.

This is the default appearance of the Navigation Block in use on your theme. There is not a specific way to control the behaviour of drop-down elements (they are exposed by default) since there is not really a way to “hover” on a mobile device in the same way as you might with a mouse on your desktop computer.

The only way to make mobile-only customizations at this time is with the addition of custom CSS code to override the default behaviour. We’re not trained web designers so if what you are trying to do is outside of our skill we’re happy to suggest alternatives, but for simple code changes we may be able to help. Can you explain what you mean by customizing how things are spread out? This is the view I see now:

Thanks for the additional info!
