Help with new WordPress site

    I am planning on converting this to a business site for our shareholders. How can I place files permanently on the side of the blog post so that important information is always available on the front landing page? I’m thinking of Minutes, Accounts, Word Files. This is so that visitors can find it all easily without need ing to scroll around old blog posts.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi sorrelhorseshottisham,

    The easiest way to do this will be to add a Widget that appears on the Sidebar of your site. This will make the Downloads accessible via any page of your site.

    There are 2 parts to activate this feature.

    Part 1: Create and setup all your downloadable links

    Part 2: Create a Links Category
    Add a new category to Links for all your Downloads.

    Part 3: Create a Links Widget (blogroll)
    Create a Links Widget only for the Links Category ‘Download’.

    OR

    You can also use a Text Widget Links for the same. The blogroll is easier to update and maintain. Every time you add a downloadable link, this widget will be updated with the link. On the other hand, the Text Widget will give you better control over each Download separately.
