The Structure theme is unique. May I suggest you read this before you proceed just n case you aren’t aware of the way it operates.? http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/05/01/introduction-to-structure/
The showcased post is the latest post from a given category; category selected in Appearance > Theme Options > “Featured Category” dropdown.
All posts filed under the featured category must include a featured image, otherwise you get an empty grey box in its place – no way to eliminate that. …

That you for the quick reply. I am a amateur at this and don’t know anything that I am doing. In order to save money I am trying to make my own website. I will shortly be paying for domain name and space as soon as I feel I have a solid website.

I did what it said and no luck. Perhaps I am doing something wrong… Do you have any additional suggestions?
-
When you say you did what it said, could you outline exactly the steps you took? Is there a Featured Image in the featured category? What is the Featured Category? How many posts do you have in that category? Does each one have a Featured Image, not just an Image?

Well if we refer back to my website you will notice there are two articles Ipod Watch and Apple Core Organizer. I chose to make my most recent post as the feature image, since it is my most recent post. First I went to the post and changed the picture to Feature Image and updated. After I went to Appearance > Theme Options and set Feature Category to None: use most recent post.

Sorry mind my bad english but the article I wanted to feature was Ipod Watch. It is under Tech category. Thank you so much for your help. Mind the grammer as well.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean. I really confused and dont know what i’m doing maybe I should just higher a professional.

No.
If you want to simplify things, just choose a different theme. That theme is fussy. You can hire a pro if you want, but at $75 per hour and up, you’d better have a budget set aside for that.
Pick a different theme. And then read the support documents for info on Featured Images.
