Help with Obtaining WordPress.com URL

I thought I had reserved jordanmcrae.wordpress.com a while back. But it doesn’t show up in my list. It does show that it’s reserved, so not sure if I did do it and it’s just not showing up or if there is another issue.
I saw in another forum thread that sometimes customer support can help with this issue and that sometimes it’s just a glitch.
Can someone please help me out?

I am not seeing it associated with your account.
Typically when you see that “reserved” message, it means that someone has that username but has not yet started a blog using their username (jordanmcrae.wordpress.com for example).

Thank you for responding. It might be under a different email account which I don’t want to make public here. Is there some way to get that info to you privately to check?

If you cannot remember the login information for a WordPress.com account, your best bet is to try the account recovery process here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Due to the private nature of information required for account recovery and the public nature of these forums, we cannot help with account recovery here.

That didn’t help. I got this message when I submitted the form:
“Sorry but the website you gave does not exist on WordPress.com. Is it a self-hosted WordPress.org website?”Could you please check to see if it’s really registered to anyone? I saw in another forum that staff checked and was able to get the accounts registered to the people inquiring about them. Someone said it was a glitch in the system. In one case it had been registered by the person asking about it, but just not showing up in their list and in another, the system was showing that it was reserved but really wasn’t.
And in this case, the recovery system is showing that jordanmcrae.wordpress.com doesn’t exist.
I would really appreciate being able to resolve this. Thank you for your help.

Sorry for the delay. I’ve just checked and jordanmcrae.wordpress.com is still free for registration. You can create the blog name at http://wordpress.com/signup

Nope. It’s still showing that it’s reserved when I try to register it. Any chance you can add it for me?

Timethief is correct and I overlooked it. Sorry for the confusion there.
When a WordPress.com user signs up for an account we reserve the WordPress.com web address with their username so no one else can use it. So if they signed up for the username of jordanmcrae we would reserve jordanmcrae.wordpress.com for them.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to unreserve it and you will need to choose a different name.
With any blog, you can also use a custom domain with the Domain Mapping upgrade.

Indeed but as the username account has already been registered on June 1, 2009 (4 years) ago the blog URL is reserved and it can only be registered by the person who is logged in as Admin under that matching username account https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/jordanmcrae
