Help with ‘pages’

Hello,
I’m fairly new to wordpress.com but have figured out to navigate my way around pretty easily and everything seems pretty simple, BUT, to make my blog less cluttered, i’ve created lots of pages and then they’ve got pages nested into them for different topics. I’ve got a feedburner on the blog currently sending out emails to subscribers but it’l only send out updates when actual posts on the main page are updated, not the pages sections. Is there any way to overcome that? or at least a way to promote the pages so that there veiwed and easily noticed?
Also, i’ve managed to set up the way i want the pages to be seen on the top of the blog, but on the side bar they appear alphabetically but i’d much rather it be in the same order as the above ones for ease of finding new pages.
Any help would be great!

Okay, after waiting for a reply, managed to figure out how the pages can be laid out on the side bar exactly the same as the top by editing the widget. (Incase anyone else was stuck for that too!) Still stuck on the feedburner query though.
