Help with Pages on Gateway theme please!
-
Let me preface this by saying I know little to nothing about coding so bear with me!
I am trying to have 3 pages on my site and be able to filter blogs I write down to those 3 pages based on the post type. When you click on one of the 3 pages, I’d like to have all the corresponding posts I associated with that page show up. Someone in support chat told me to delete the pages I had created and when I write posts, the site would automatically create category pages. My problem with that is I just want the page title, not “Category: _________” up top. Please help, thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, the Theme software creates the title, Category: Sounds as a single string of text, so there is now way for us to hide just part of it with CSS.
I would suggest looking, and testing out on a draft page, the Display Posts Shortcode, which will allow you to name the page anything you want and then in the shortcode, specify which category of posts you wish to have displayed.
What you are going to notice when previewing a page that displays posts with the Display Posts Shortcode, is that the styling is going to be different from what is on a Category page. Most of that can be changed with CSS to look more like the Category pages, but it would take some work. Play with this and see what you think.
