Help with pointing my domain to another host

  I bought a domain name here, and was going to try to host/put it together here, but realized there were only like 5 free templates (even with the 2nd level plan) so I canceled that plan.

  I want to direct the domain I bought here to another host. I have tried for hours to find the answer to this. I did see the article that wanted me to go to the domain (kimdmiller.com), click Upgrades, and then it said I’d have an option to do something with it . However, it’s locked, and it made me make a free site homepage and it still doesn’t work. I’m so beyond frustrated

  Once you have your new hosting provider picked out and you have signed up for a hosting plan, you can take the nameservers they give you and update them.

  This will keep your domain registered w/ wordpress.com / Automattic. Transferring your domain is a separate process. https://wordpress.com/support/domains/transfer-domain-registration/
