Hi @asmolnikova,
It’s good to see that the steps in this thread helped you out and that your portfolio items are now displaying on your home page.
To answer the question you raised in that other thread:
Is there anyway to have a portfolio page as the home page without giving it a title? So that is just clean images and the name of the site?
You can remove “Home” from the title field of your Home page and then create a custom menu to make sure the “Home” text appears in your site’s navigation.
The complete steps for this are as follows:
- Select the option to Edit while viewing your home page.
- Remove “Home” from the title field in the editor and save your changes.
- Navigate to My Site in the top left of WordPress.com and then choose the Customize button from the sidebar.
- Go to the Menus tab and then Main Menu in the Customizer.
- Click on the little arrow next to the link for your home page and make sure that you’ve entered “Home” into the Navigation Label field.
Let me know how you get on with that or if you have extra questions.
