Help with Right Side-Bar in Oxygen Theme

  Hello,

  I’ve been altering the Oxygen theme for my blog Smartllama. I’ve managed to remove the left sidebar and then make content full page width. However on my site smartllama.com the slider is now spanning the full page width, however when I upload an image it will not stretch full width of the slider. What i’d like to do is bring the right-hand sidebar up to the top of the page so it sits flush against the slider and beneath my header / navigation.

  Does anyone have any suggestions? i’m an amateur so I apologise if there’s a quick fix.
