Help with Search Window in Columnist Help with Images not Loading

I would like to add a Search window to Columnist. Can that be done?
Some of my images are not loading in the columns shown

Widgets in The Columnist are only displayed at the bottom of single posts – you can see them all at the bottom of the post here, for example:

The Columnist is an older theme that isn’t responsive, so it doesn’t automatically adjust to small screens like phones and tablets. You might like to check out a newer theme that is responsive and that would allow a search widget on the homepage.

Some of your posts don’t have a featured image. Here’s how featured images work in this theme:
On the home page as well as all other pages that display multiple posts, your featured image will appear cropped at 180 pixels wide by 180 pixels tall. In cases where your original uploaded featured image is 610 pixles wide or wider, it will also appear at the very top of single posts and pages.
