Help with sidebar widgets

I can’t get my widgets to show up on the right sidebar on all pages. It used to, but now is not doing so. I have a free account. I know I can do this, but I am having troubles. url is gardnermen.wordpress.com. All the widgets on the home page are supposed to show up on other links such as About, Contact Us, Gigs, Songs. PLEASE HELP!

This sidebar will display images from the latest 10 posts that have image attachments. Up to 8 images will be displayed for each post and each image links directly to the post it is attached to.
A second sidebar is available to use, but only if you choose to do so. You can customize its display by adding any number of widgets via Appearance → Widgets. Please note that this sidebar will only display if it has been populated with widgets. It will also be hidden when viewing single posts and pages.

Inside some widgets you will find visibility settings that you can use to direct which pages in the blog widgets are displayed on. Click each the widget to open it and set the visibility setting. Then click “save” and “close”.

I logged in again under this username account and I tried this theme on my test blog. I think this is your problem:
It will also be hidden when viewing single posts and pages.

I got it to work earlier and I can’t remember how. I also set the visibility to show on specific pages and it still won’t show there like it did previously.

I am having issues with my sidebar as well. But in my particular case it’s with the Contacts Info widget. For some reason the Google map is completely blank, and displays no info when I click on the pin. I have tried deleting and reinserting the widget many times to no avail. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this issue? Thnx in advance.

gardnermen – as timethief has already mentioned, the theme you currently have active, Ideation & Intent, does not have any widget areas on Pages.
If you saw them earlier, it was likely when you had a different theme in use. It looks like you switched themes about a month ago.
If you’d like a sidebar with widgets on Pages you’ll need to select different theme: http://theme.wordpress.com/

I know what I saw. I changed themes the first time I was trying to create the site. Within the last week I had my widgets appearing on the right sidebar when clicking on pages and posts. Now it’s gone.

That is definitely a bit of a mystery, then, since Ideation & Intent only displays sidebar widgets on the blog index page.
If you see this again, would you mind uploading a screenshot to help in troubleshooting?

Do you remember what you saw in the sidebar? Is it possible that you saw a gallery?

I will see if I can duplicate it. Something happened and then it was gone, then the “PHOTOS” box started showing up on the right on my pages instead. Now I can’t get that to go away either! Anyways, if I can duplicate it I’ll take a screenshot. thanks for all your help.

If you saw a the “Photos” header that sounds like the gallery – did it look like the middle column here?

Yes, it did look like that column, but empty because I don’t have any images loaded. It didn’t show up until recently though.
