Help with simple DIVI cell look-n-feel

    So I’m trying to achieve the following effect using the DIVI plugin:

    I’m trying to do mine in 2 columns using the blurb modules like so:

    And this is how it looks:

    So there are basically 2 issues. No matter what I try I cannot for the life of me figure out how to take away the gap between the columns (and rows) for that matter. It always wants to keep a large spacing between the items. And the other issue is that the images I’m using I would want to be scaled down a bit so you can see more of the inside of the blurb.

    The first image I linked to was taking from another site using DIVI so I know the look is achievable.

    Any help would be appreciated!
