Help with Sketch theme

Two related issues:
1. For themes with a Featured Content section, at Customize > Featured Content the word “posts” in the statement
Easily feature all posts with the “featured” tag or a tag of your choice. Your theme supports up to “X” posts in its featured content area.
has different meanings, depending upon what types of content are allowed to be tagged as featured content. For example, on AltoFocus and Apostrophe 2 only posts may be assigned to the Featured Content section, where as on Rebalance projects or posts may be assigned to Featured Content, and on Sketch you may assign posts, pages, or projects to Featured Content.
On the other hand one assumes that the words “post” and “posts” in the labels of the check boxes below refer only to blog posts. My tests on Sketch and Apostrophe 2 tend to confirm this assumption with regard to the “Also display tagged posts outside the Featured Content area” item.
2. This is a side issue, but I mention “archive pages” above not because I think a lot of people would want a featured content post hidden from the archive pages, but rather because the phrase “outside the Featured Content area” is too vague. It suggests that unchecking the box would hide a featured content post from multiple places, including archive pages.

I published a longish post in the Help Forums a couple of days ago titled “Some issues regarding Featured Content,” that covers the featured content issues I’ve described here. So far the silence has been deafening. Maybe it’s the onset of summer.
