Help with Sliding 'Featured Blog'

  Hi there,

  I am having great difficulty finding anywhere online how to to set up the ‘featured content’ section of the adventure theme I purchased. I don’t know what it is or even the difference between it and ‘sliders’? And any post or video i find seems to be about the .org version and quotes me plugins. Basically all I want is to have basically the page that’s in the Adventure theme demo. When you look at the demo, the first page has a nice bio (which I think now is a separate widget?) but instead of a static or randomized ‘featured image’. There is a slider featuring several posts, with titles, beautiful image and descriptions of each is, and they slide. Is there any concise or how to guide that I can read or watch to help me understand this page please? or can you guide me farther with sorting this out. Thanks you, Stephen.

  Have you taken a look at the Adventure theme’s support guide for WordPress.com?

  It will teach you how to make your site look like the demo. For further instructions on the slideshow, take a look under: Using the Slideshow Page Template. If you want the Homepage gallery, take a look under: Homepage Image Gallery.

  Hi

  Thank you so much for all your help. Everything is running perfectly now :)

  I was wondering, is it possible to display 3D rotational objects on the adventure page too?

  I use Agisoft Photoscan.

  Hi Stephen,

  What kind of file is it? Here’s a list of accepted filetypes:

  Accepted File Types

  If it’s there you should be able to upload it (note that some may need an extra upgrade). Unfortunately if it is not there, it wouldn’t be possible.
