Help with the "Chunk" theme

  At the top of my blog there’s a bunch of empty space I’d like to get rid of.
  I’m able to input text into it but I don’t want to have anyhing there at all.

  Others who use the Chunk theme don’t seem to have that dead space up top and I’d like to try to accomplish the same look as well.

  First off, you want to go back to settings > general and put in a title and tagline/site-description for your site. With those two blank, search engines will dock you on ranking. They want to see a title and description.

  You hide those two from view by then going to appearance > header and selecting “Display Text: No.” That will get rid of the bunch of whitespace at the top of your site and hide the text, but it will keep the title and description for the search engines to find.
