Help with the Illustatr menu

    Most importantly, I’d like to turn off the animation for the main menu. Is there an option for that?

    Also, ideally I’d like to change the styling of the button for the page currently being viewed (change the text color, for example) and haven’t been able to figure out how to select the appropriate list item in this theme.

    Hi,

    The Illustratr theme for WordPress.com doesn’t have animated menus, which suggests that you’re using the WordPress.org version.

    Also, ideally I’d like to change the styling of the button for the page currently being viewed (change the text color, for example) and haven’t been able to figure out how to select the appropriate list item in this theme.

    On the WP.com version, the header menu text color can be changed by choosing one of the alternative palettes at Customize > Colors & Backgrounds > Background > Choose a Palette, but this information might be inapplicable on the version you’re using.
