Help with the new Editor

    What’s going on with all these blocks, especially the ones using shortcode and code? The reason I’ve used WordPress for so long is that I didn’t have to mess with codes! How do I simplify this with all the new changes? What settings do I need to check to get back to a more user-friendly way?

    Hi there,

    The “code block” and “shortcode block” are totally optional, and are available for folks that do like to work in code.

    However they are not the only blocks we offer, and there are many more blocks that will display images, text, social media, video embeds, etc. with no code needed.

    Can you tell us a bit more about what you are trying to set up? Happy to suggest how you can go about that using the other blocks we offer, so that you do not need to feel as if you have to add code.
