Help with theme

I bought a theme and downloaded it but when I go to customize it all I see is a lot of script and words not the theme and I also paid someone to help me with this but no one has contacted me

Hi there,
A theme has to be installed on a WordPress site. It’s not something you can open and customize directly on your computer.
If you want to use that theme on your WordPress.com site, https://sweethomeofminecom.wordpress.com/, you’ll need to first upgrade to our Business Plan.
Or if you already have a WordPress site hosted somewhere else, you can install your theme by logging into WP-Admin ->Appearance ->Themes ->Add New and uploading it there.
For more help, please contact support for the theme you bought directly.

I bought one for http://www.plainandsimplehome.com but am lost on how to reach it because i try using the admin link and it send me to sweethomeof mine, i bought a theme and downloaded it from my studio press but all i see is alot fo script and numbers
