Help with thumbnail display of images in post
-
Hello! Is there anyway to make the file names not appear when I use the thumbnail display option for a set of images in post (it’s similar to a lightbox function.) The file names are ugly and I don’t want them displayed.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
Can you share an example of this so I can take a look? Please add a screen shot of what you are seeing to your media library. Thanks!

Now I feel dumb, but I don’t see an obvious way to enter a screenshot on this forum. I am adding it to my library though. The texts I’m talking about will be the thing that says “SONY DSC” Can you see my library?

Good Morning –
Adding the screen shot to your library is perfect. I can see it. It doesn’t look like that image is from your most recent post (Northern Idaho). Can you tell me which post that image is in? Or do you see the Sony DSC text on all the images?

This Is my other blog, elainewashamphotography.wordpress.com it’s under the Landscape and Nature section

Thanks for that update. You can edit that bit of the carousel by clicking on each individual image here: https://elainewashamphotography.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=40&action=edit
You’re looking to edit the title. It looks to automatically be pulling in the file name. Another option is to leave it blank, but a good title might help you organize or find it later on.

Oh my thank you. I was only working through wordpress.com… I thought the admin page was for paying users only. Now I feel really dumb. But thank you so much!
