HELP with turning a link into a “click here”

I read the forums and checked out how to turn a link (from amazon.com) into a “click here” either in visual or html. However, when I click on the “click here” internet explorer is telling me “oops” it’s a broken link. What am I doing wrong??

We need to see the code you’re trying to use. Please paste it here between backticks so it displays properly. Backticks are usually on the same key as the ~

I got it…seeing it highlighted here made realize my STUPID mistake…I was copying the http:// twice. I am so sorry to take up your time and appreciate the help! I also never heard of a “backtick,” so thanks for that too!!

No worries. The backtick trick will save you time in the future. And yes, we’ve all done the “two http” error.
