You can always find your drafts here, for what it’s worth:

Your the best. I would love to tell your supervisors that if you give me an email address for them.

I am so very EMBARRASSED. I was creating a bibliography on an added page, I accidentally made it my home page and I can’t figure out how to revert this. Can you do this for me? Martie
-
@neesrecordaolcom Looks like you already got it :) If you ever need a quick reference though, you can easily set the front page under My Site > Customize > Front Page. You can also do it in the list of pages, but (as a visual person) I tend to think the customizer is easier.

To superoiva’s supervisor,
I ask endless questions, sometimes figuring things out myself (after hours of pulling out my hair), but usually with the help of above. I am new to blogging but old in age, meaning I need blogging 101 lessons, which she seems to have the patience to teach me.
Without supernovia (Velda) the chances are high I would not have continued blogging and using WordPress. Because of this I do hope she is recognized as an employee that goes above and beyond.
LEAVE ME ALONE I AM READING AND REVIEWING
books6259.wordpress.comFYI supernovia- I am still working on changing the website name:-)

supernovia, i’m in tears. i thought i did it too but when i click “about” it shows my homepage….when i click “bibliography” it works, when i click “contact” it works, but “about” it is gone….”about” is very important to me because it is dedicated to a young woman who died of cancer….can’t all three links work?…if i can only have two links on my homepage i’d rather get rid of “contact” not a good way to build a following, but that is how important keeping “about” on my homepage is to me…can you help me out on this one? I’m wondering if it is my theme. btw: just call me Martie

@neesrecordaolcom please make a new page, call it Posts or Blog or News or whatever you’d like. Make it blank. Publish it.
Then go to My Site > Customize > Front Page . Select that new page as your posts page.
You can also head to Menus and add a link to that page if you’d like.
-
Well we are almost there. My “”about” is back, thank you, that meant the world to me, if you read it you will understand (it is very short). And everything else is back the way it should be.
Except: now have a blank page on my front page reading “book reviews” I only created the blog for book reviews as requested by the publishers that give me free e-books. I am sure you are familiar with this.
So please look at my site for suggestions on how to fix this. From your needy, 101 student.
-
What would you like to see on the front page ideally — your posts perhaps? Or a certain page?
If you want your posts on the front page, you can delete that new page you made and just set Customize > Front Page to show your latest posts on the front page.
By the way, I’m happy to help you here.

Okay, I went through the support links and I still can’t figure out why when I manually upload my last book review to FB it shows the image of another book. This has never happened to me before. How the heck do I fix this one? https://books6259.wordpress.com/2017/03/20/the-last-neanderthal-by-claire-cameron/

@neesrecordaolcom I got this message from Facebook’s debug tool:
“Image Too Big
Provided og:image URL, https://books6259.files.wordpress.com/2017/03/the-last-neanderthal.jpg could not be downloaded because it exceeded the maximum allowed sized of 8Mb.”Can you try downloading this:
https://books6259.files.wordpress.com/2017/03/the-last-neanderthal.jpg?w=800and uploading it? Then let us know here and we’ll check again.

I googled trying to figure it out for myself and read about the image being too big but it is no different then the other images I have posted of book covers. I’ll try the directions on the below link and get back to you.
-
The best practices page says you should upload a larger image if you can, just make sure it’s not over 8MB.
Can you try uploading another copy, maybe one that’s one of the sizes recommended here:

After receiving many “likes” from another blogger peacekathure.wordpress.com I went to check out what they were reading/saying. When I click the link I always get the message saying that the site doesn’t exist.
Can you please explain to me why this happens? Thanks,
Martie
