Help with using domain bought through wordpress on weebly
-
I bought a domain name (seniorcare-usa.com) through wordpress, but have decided to build my website through weebly. Now I am experiencing a nightmare trying to use this domain. I was told that I could host my domain on a 3rd party (I chose hostgator.com) and that I could then use this domain through weebly because wordpress isnt able to point the ip at my new site (I admit this really doesn’t make any sense to me). But when I asked hostgator to host my address (seniorcare-usa.com) and direct it to weebly, this was their response, ” Hello,
Thank you for your contacting the HostGator support team we will be glad to address your issue. It appears that your site’s DNS is hosted through wordpress.com : http://leafdns.com/index.cgi?testid=8098D6E2 unless you switch the nameservers to point to your Hostgator account you will need to contact wordpress to make the DNS changes.”
My request is this!!!
made a website using Weebly and need to point my domain to their servers. Can you set this up or walk me through the process of making these changes? I need to change my A-Records for both “www” and my root domain. That’s one record for http://www.mydomain.com pointing to 199.34.228.59. And one record for mydomain.com also pointing to 199.34.228.59.If you need more info on these changes, please see:

Note that I want to keep using you as my domain registrar. I am not requesting a transfer and do not have new name servers to provide you.
Thanks!
PLEASE help me because I have spent way more time and effort trying to accomplish this than is reasonable.

Hi there,
I have updated your A-records as requested! These changes usually take 1 hour. However, it may take up to 48 hours for these changes to take effect. These time frames are estimates and not guaranteed.
Please note that you do not have to host your domain with HostGator. Your domain is still registered through and now hosting with Weebly. Please remember to renew your domain with us to keep your domain active. Your domain is set to expire on Dec 18th, 2014. So, please renew it when it gets close to that date!
