Help with Using 'Oxygen' theme
-
I’m using the ‘Oxygen’ theme and I want to use the ‘Showcase’ page template with my blog as the main page (so that I can take advantage of the Sticky Posts slider. The only problem is, I don’t understand the instructions to be able to do that. How can I make my traditional blog format the ‘static’ page??

You can either have your main page use the showcase template with the slider and unique features, or you can have your site use the standard blog format. You can’t have the blog format on the showcase main page.
If you want the showcase as your main page, create a page, select the showcase template from the page template pulldown in the attributes module in the editor window, publish the page. Then go to setting > reading and choose that page as your front page.
If, in addition, you also wish to have a standard blog page (which will not be the main page) then create a new page with whatever title you wish, publish it, and then go back to settings > reading and set that as the “posts” page.

Hi there,
I am having a similar trouble but with me, the trouble is that the “attributes” module doesn’t show up. On the right hand side of each ‘edit/create new post’ page, below “publish” module are “categories”, “tags”, and “featured image”, no “attributes” to be found. Is there another setting I have to take care of in order for the attributes module to show?
Please do help and thank you!
